I'm Marina Dowden and I paint.
Mostly because leaving walls empty seems such a terrible waste. A painting doesn’t simply fill a space. It changes it. You pass it every day, catch it in a different light, discover something you somehow failed to notice yesterday — and eventually it becomes part of the place you call home.
Art, after all, should make life more interesting. Otherwise, what is it doing there?
